The PP128 is a high performance data acquisition and processing
platform dedicated to digital recording applications. The PP128
CompactPCI based card comprises two 2GSPS A/D channels as well as four
Virtex-4 FPGAs. Real-time recording can be easily achieved by
connecting the FPDP or fibre channel to a disk array (200Mbytes/s
sustained). Communication with a host computer via the PCI bus enables
users to control the system, modify algorithm settings on-the-fly and
extract data for further analysis.
Diamond provides the best tools for fast development of multi-processor DSP projects on systems using one or many C6000s. Compilation, linking and debugging are done using Texas Instruments’ Code Composer Studio, to which Diamond adds a comprehensive framework for multi-processor software development.
